When I heard the word oleophobic, I first thought that it was sort of fear of something, but when I searched for its meaning, oleophobic means lacking affinity for oils.

And according to product specs of iPhone 3GS, the purpose of this oleophobic coating is to make resistant, especially that this one is a touch screen phone.

Now, that’s what I call technology.
