I Miss Shopping!

It has been quite a while that I have not shopped for myself. Lately, when I go shopping alone or with my family (my husband and my daughter), I end up buying stuffs for them. Usually, I buy toys and clothings for my daughter, who is now 3 1/2 years old and polo shirt for my husband.

Well, I’m not saying that I should be buying things for myself and not for them. I just miss shopping for myself, especially buying a new gadget, which is my weakness. I guess it has been more than a year since I bought a my latest gadget. Hopefully, Ito buy will be able to buy one for myself before this month ends.

Actually, I’m planning to buy a new triple sim cellphone. Not those expensive ones, of course, but durable, user-friendly and most importantly has all the features that I need that can surely fit my lifestyle – my hobby, blogging, traveling and the like. If only I have a prepaid Travel Cashcard that I can carry anywhere and instantly buy that “one”.

Well, I guess, I have to be patient and wait for the right time. I know I need to work “a lot” and sacrifice something to obtain my “desire”… Few more weeks to go…

Samsung M3510, Addition To My Gadget Collection

Welcome my new baby – my Samsung M3510 cellphone! A more-than-a-week-late birthday gift to myself.

Another gadget has been mine today and this time, it’s a cellphone. Got it from Sun Cellular Plan. Actually, I received their message las Saturday informing me that I’m qualified o the said plan with free unit. Since I’m a self-confessed gadget-lover, I was easily interested and grabbed the chance.

Now, it’s in my hands! I’m so excited to explore and play with my new “baby”…

Last time I have written a post about my experiences at SM City Bacolod as my blog entry for their My SM City Bacolod Story Contest.

Now, the deadline is very fast approaching and that will be tomorrow. I’m excited to know the results – as there are only 4 entries as of the moment – , though they have posted that they can’t make the announcement tomorrow.

Anyway, here are the prizes that the 2 winners will collect:

Purpose of Oleophobic Coating on iPhone 3GS

While I was searching the net for new gadgets, I came across this iPhone 3GS with oleophobic coating. When I heard the word oleophobic, I first thought that it was sort of fear of something, but when I searched for its meaning, oleophobic means lacking affinity for oils.

And according to product specs of iPhone 3GS, the purpose of this oleophobic coating is to make resistant, especially that this one is a touch screen phone.

Now, that’s what I call technology.

Another Must-Have Gadget: Kodak z18

Another gadget, which I’m interested will be released on September. It’s the new Kodak z18 pocket video camera. It can shoot 1080p while the Flip only has the capacity to shoot 720p.

What’s more is that it has a built-in image stabilization (electronic), a microphone socket and and SD card slot, that can be expanded for up to 32GB. It also has Flip’s trademark flip-out USB plug, and has the capacity to shoot five megapixels in still form.

Ah, another must-have I guess…
