CMA Awards 2009 Winners

Last night, November 11, 2009, was the 2009 CMA (Country Musics Awards) Nights. It’s the 43rd awards night held at Nashville Tennessee.

This is where Taylor Swift grabbed 4 awards in one night – the Entertainer of the year, Album of the year, Female
vocalist of the year and Music Video of the year.

The other winners were:

Male Vocalist of the Year: Brad Paisley

Single of the Year: “I Run to You,” Lady Antebellum

Song of the Year: “In Color,” Jamey Johnson (w/ cowriters Lee Thomas Miller and James Otto)

Best New Artist of the Year: Darius Rucker

Musician of the Year: Mac McAnally

Event of the Year: “Start a Band,” Brad Paisley and Keith Urban

Vocal Group of the Year: Lady Antebellum

Vocal Duo of the Year: Sugarland
